How Much Will It Cost?

We get this not-so-simple question almost every day. The short answer is...it depends.

So How Much Will My Project Cost?

Every project has different and unique requirements, and those requirements often require unique expertise and professional resources to accomplish. In the interest of transparency, we’d like to give you at least some idea of the costs to realize your vision.

A business website is an investment. Large or small, we try to maximize your budget and work with you to create a priority driven plan based on your project budget that will optimize your investment while still achieving your primary goals.

Before we talk about any numbers,
it begs saying that we will likely not be the lowest bidder for your project.
If getting the site done and out the door as quickly as possible with no regard for quality is your mind set, then we’re probably not the best fit for you. We absolutely LOVE what we do and are passionate about creating the best solution; and that means spending the time necessary to do things right and achieve the best results.

With that caveat in place, just how much would it cost to do something like you have in mind? This should get you in the ballpark (or at least in the parking lot).

How We Charge

Fixed Prices VS. Hourly Rates

Project estimates are provided whenever possible prior to beginning any work. These estimates outline what we think the project will cost based on our understanding of the information you’ve provided in your project planner or creative brief and our experience. However, in certain circumstances there’s no getting around billing on an hourly basis.

We always offer a FREE 30 minute consultation to all new clients.

Rush Work

If you need it yesterday don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Please realize that to accommodate your tight schedule we’ll have to work late, over the weekend or change our schedule. So rush work will incur fees in addition to the project costs themselves.

  • Next-day turnaround (by 5pm next business day): Project Cost +75%
  • Weekend work (in on Friday, due on Monday): Project Cost +100%
  • Same-day turnaround: Project Cost +125%.
  • Websites typically have an average turnaround time of approximately 4-6 weeks depending on complexity and other factors. We can usually accommodate you if you need it sooner, however this will incur rush fees as well and they vary based on the urgency. You’ll always be made aware all costs before you put pen to paper.

Discounts

We offer varied discounted design and programming rates to:

  • Not for profit organizations (NPO’s) with proper documentation
  • Churches and ministries
  • Clients who routinely buy our services (customer loyalty discount offered at our discretion)

We accept PayPal, company checks, cash (exact change please) and Visa and MasterCard

Due to the custom nature of our websites, please keep in mind that these ranges are meant as rough guidelines only. Any numbers mentioned are meant to provide you a general idea of price ranges that projects with Firestorm typically fall within.

Typical Website Project Price Ranges

  • An average new website or website redesign project costs ~$4,000-$15,000
  • Premium custom websites – every aspect of the website is custom designed and fabricated to meet your specific business needs and to save time and improve your workflow: $8,500-$30,000
  • Full-featured out-of-the-box website packages: ~$2,500-$3,000
  • Very small scale starter websites: ~$1,500-$2,500

Typical Design Project Price Ranges

  • Simple logo ~$450-$1,000
  • Premium Logo: custom illustration and typesetting ~$1,500-$5,000
  • Corporate Branding: logo design, brand graphics, business collateral design, brand style guidelines etc. ~$4,500-$10,000
  • Post Card/Rack Card artwork design: ~$200-$500
  • Simple Business Card artwork layout: ~$100-$200
  • Custom Business Card artwork : ~$200-$800
  • Full Page Magazine Advertisement: ~$1,000-$3,000

Consultation Services

  • We offer consultation and strategy services at $95 per hour (1 hour minimum)
